Screenshot: Not widely disseminated until now, this video from marketer Seth Godin is an excellent jettisoning of formal, even academic, groupthink still dominant in marketing and great insight for people in the idea and publishing business—or music or multitude of other product businesses. It challenges the marketing framework for classifying what a “product” really is, what “free” actually means, how to monetize an idea and what constitutes permission marketing platforms in light of technological evolutions.
